thesixtyone.com....it's better than muxtape
thanks to hacker news i found this amazing site run by a couple guys who were behind YouOS a web operating system that has now closed its doors. their second attempt in the web world seems likely to be much more successful. i love thesixtyone.com. its an amazing site which allows you discover new music. its like digg but without the noise. little nuggets of functionality (like only allowing users to vote up a song once you have listened for a full minute) stops crap from rising to the top of the rankings. the ui/ux is slick (with a USEFUL use of flash) and the whole vision behind the site sits well with my philosophies about the intweb.
i liked the site so much i donated some money….because frankly i doubt they are making much. either way this is a great addition to the web. its even better than muxtape!
